Build well except for the velcro
Velcro didn't even last a year. Had to bring them into a Clothes Alteration shop to have the velcro replaced.

pros & cons, very detailed and informative review/breakdown
Absolutley love these. I have the natural leather (brown) color and it is absolutley gorgeous! The leather quality is top top notch! It is supple and smoothe and even after 2 months of hard training still has that fresh leather smell. The stitching is very consitant through out, the liner is comfortable but absorbs and retain alot of sweat however not a huge deal because of the cuff being naturally circular they air out almost automatically just leave them out for a few minutes and they will be good. Speaking about the cuff, it has very good padding for if you have to block hi kicks or if you shell up and I must say the wrist support it leaps and bounds over any other thai glove ive ever worn, which was always my gripe with thai gloves (I have weak wrists). The most important part of the gloves and actually the best part of the gloves are the padding. The padding is excellent it absorbs very hard punches, and intense bag work with no hand pains what so ever. Also you can make a very good fist with these for a thai glove (traditional boxing style gloves tend to greatley excel over thai gloves in this category due to design, no open palm and thumb placement allowing you to make a perfect and proper fist everytime, provided that they are quality gloves). Now the only reason that I did not give these gloves 5 stars are becasue of stiffness and break in period as well as pinching. When ypu first get these gloves they are rock hard stiff! I DO NOT suggest you spar with these right out of the box because you will hurt your partner. Due to the stifness and rigidity of the gloves as well as the hard padding. Now because they are so stiff at firts you will notice that your fingertips will be pinched and it will be uncomfortable especially and mostly your thumb. This actually made me hate the gloves at first but after a round or two on the bag I stoped feeling it (or just didnt focus on it and forgot about it). How ever those negatives go away once the gloves break in because they break in so well almost like they were custom made for your hand! Only problems is that this takes awhile. While most gloves only need about 20 rounds of proper and intense heavy bag work to break in (roughly 3 days to 1 weeks depending on how you train) these took about 33 rounds of proper and intense heavy bag work to break in (just over 2 weeks for me) wich is considered extinsive. I feel like the break in period is worth it because they feel so amazing once broken in but c'mon that has to be a design flaw, I know windys are built tough to last but 2 weeks of consistent bag work is a little too much for a break in period. But again like I said once broken in they feel like they were made just for you and are as comfortable as wearing clouds on your hands (oh yeah i forgot to meantion that I have the 16oz pair and they feel pretty light which I like but thats personal preference). If they wouldnt have broken in so well I would have rated them 2-3 stars because they would have lacked heavily in comfort but this is not the case. I personally use these gloves for sparring and seldomly for mitt work, but while occasionally using them for some very light bag work just to break in the padding a little more and make it softer (I have actuall bag gloves for bag/pad work so again this is just personal preference and you wont have to do that if you dont wish to do so). I would say that these are an excellent sparring glove at 16oz and would make a decent-good bag/mitt/pad glove at 10 oz -12oz (depending on your weight and hand size would decide the size ie. Heavier with larger hands=12oz, lighter with small/regular size hands=10oz). But if you are person that can only have one pair of gloves or prefers to only have one pair of gloves than the 16oz pair also make a great pair of "work-horse" gloves. All in all great pair of gloves, high quality, built to last, great construction and made by a brand that is trusted among fighters, if you can deal with the stifness and pinching in during the break in period than you should totallt buy these gloves. I hope you enjoyed this review I know it was very long but I hope you found it informative. Good luck, train hard, have fun and never give up. Oss!
