It's wire and it works.
I purchased this wire not for audio purposes but for an electrical project I'm doing on my truck, I wanted some decent 8-gauge wire without breaking the bank. I'd recommend this product.

Good for what I needed.
It works for my application, thick insulation .easy to work with. Used on a 2000 watt peak inverter 1000 watt con. I personally wouldn't use it on anything bigger.

Good wire
Wire is wire, but I bought the paired wire, and I'm impressed with the overall quality. This will feed a small, 500 watt inverter in the back of my RV. It will run from the battery bank on the tongue all the way to the rear of the coach. It's easy to handle, fits in 1/2" conduit, and the jacket seems to be high quality. Check with me in 5 years. I can't comment on heat resistance, because my application doesn't call for that, and the wire is the right size for the distance (about 25 feet terminal to terminal) and the potential 40 amp DC load.

Excellent Buy!
If you are working with DC power, it is imperative that you buy the right type of wire. This wire was perfect for my needs. I recently set up a 3000-Watt inverter in my pickup and this wire was perfect for setting this up. Excellent quality easy to worth if I ever need this type of wire again, I know exactly where to get it.
