Good pencil sharpener but will Not do carpenter pencil.
I ordered this to sharpen carpenter pencils in the shop. It doesn't work for this unless you taper it a bit with one of your saws. It is useful for me and my purpose with the extra prep step for a sharp pencil. I'd give it a 3+ and suggest the description be modified to correctly describe it's capability.

Does not fit carpener’s pencils
We bought this specifically because the description noted that it would sharpen carpenter’s pencils. Not so. Both holes were too small. Very disappointed

Often stops when sharpening a standard #2 pencil due to limited power when using either both battery or plugged in.
