So glad I ordered this replacement base for my office chair. My office chair was falling apart. The cylinder wasn't working (the seat was stuck in the lowest position) and the chair was not steady to sit in. I ordered a replacement cylinder bundle thinking this would solve the problem. However, even after viewing videos on how to remove the old cylinder, I could not remove the original cylinder. So I packaged the replacement order and sent it back for a refund (which I did receive!). I wasn't going to give up and looked again on Amazon for any possible solution. I viewed the Shzond office chair replacement base package. After making sure the base measurements were the same, I ordered it. It was delivered earlier than expected. There were no instructions for re-assembly, but it was straight forward. The only negative I encountered was that there were no bolts included for attaching the seat. Luckily, I had saved my old ones and they worked just fine. With the final assembly complete, I have my office chair back. This replacement bundle worked perfect! I am very pleased with the results!

I was worried about replacing the original wooden base of my Thomasville chair with a more modern style, but when the cost of a new wooden base was over $200, I decided to try this one out.It was a perfect fit. From the diameter of the riser cylinder, to the width of the base, it fits perfectly.The casters roll much more easily than the vintage-brass-style ones that were part of the original base. (Their difficulty in rolling smoothly was one of the factors that lead to the wooden base breaking.)This base is easy to assemble and easy to install.It is solid and stable, and does not look out of place on a vintage-style wood & leather chair.I daresay my chair is better with this base.

My computer chair base snaped off and the gas cylinder was leaking. The chair it self was in good condition. The Shzond replacement base fit perficly and was easy to install. I saved time and money not having to shop for a new chair.

Just sat down on the chair and one of the legs broke. The top part of the chair is 10 years old. The bottom part is less than 2 years old. What a waste of money.

Worked for my Autofull gaming chair, standard size. It does not come with a manual, screws, or a key, all which are very necessary for someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. If you don’t have your old screws or a turning key it’s one of the things you’d also have to purchase. came very fast because it was a state away from me. Works very well easily installed it in less than 10 minutes. it feels sturdy and okay. Advertised as 320 pounds however when put to kg it’s really more like 280-290. Overall it was a good purchase and I’d definitely recommend

This base worked perfectly for an office chair that I had which had a bad lifting/dropping cylinder. I could not get the old cylinder removed, so thus the need for the base.The unit is sturdy. It arrived with a larger base mounting plate than what I needed, but thankfully, I had the original plate and it was easy to change.The wheels are fine as someone had posted earlier that their wheels broke out of the base mounting sockets. I do not think that is going to happen with mine. Purchasing this unit saved a very expensive office chair from the dump.

This is a perfect fit and better than what I got from/with my expensive leather chair! Thanks for providing this! I actually thought I was going to have to toss my favorite chair then Ta-da here the part was. And my little puppy had chewed the wood legs so this had metal and hard plastic, that wouldn’t get chewed so I’m set! You can buy the mechanism or this kit with the legs. But what I’ll say is the wheels on this are great even on carpet, so don’t hesitate.One CRITICAL NOTE: No hardware is included. Take out the 4 screws and washers, remove the old and put the new on with the same screws and nuts. I wish they included or at least offered a set but they don’t! Understandably, they don’t know the size of your holes and the threading so you don’t want that to get stripped out with different threading.
