Stunning Display for Work and Play
I recently got the SAMSUNG 32" UR59 Series ViewFinity 4K UHD (3840x2160) Computer Monitor (LU32R590CWNXZA, Black), and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home office setup. Whether you’re working on spreadsheets, editing photos, or just binge-watching shows, this curved monitor brings a lot to the table for the price. Why It’s Impressive: The 4K UHD resolution (3840x2160) is a game-changer. Everything looks razor-sharp, from text in documents to details in videos. The 32-inch screen with a 1500R curve feels immersive without being overwhelming, pulling you into the action while keeping the edges in your peripheral vision. I’ve found it really helps reduce eye strain during long work sessions, thanks to the Eye Saver Mode and flicker-free tech that cuts down on blue light and screen flicker. The 2500:1 contrast ratio and support for a billion colors make blacks deep and colors vibrant—I was blown away watching 4K nature videos, where every leaf and ripple popped. The Picture-by-Picture (PBP) feature is a standout, letting me connect my laptop and desktop via HDMI and DisplayPort to view both screens side-by-side at native resolution, which is a huge productivity boost. The 3-sided borderless design and slim 0.27-inch profile give it a sleek, modern look, and the V-slim metal stand hides cables nicely, keeping my desk tidy. The Cool Bits: The Game Mode is a nice touch for casual gaming—it tweaks contrast to highlight details in dark scenes, which helped me spot enemies faster in games like Call of Duty. The 60Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time are decent for non-competitive gaming, though hardcore gamers might want something faster (120Hz+). The VA panel delivers great color and contrast compared to IPS, though viewing angles aren’t quite as wide. I also love how lightweight the stand is, though it’s still sturdy. Setup was a breeze, and the joystick control for the on-screen display is intuitive once you get the hang of it.The Drawbacks: It’s not all perfect. The stand wobbles a bit if you bump the desk, especially if you’re using just one monitor—pairing it with another reduces this, as some reviewers noted. The factory settings were a tad bright for my taste, so I followed a YouTube guide to tweak the RGB sliders and gamma for better color balance. The 60Hz refresh rate is fine for work and casual use, but if you’re a serious gamer, you’ll notice the lack of higher refresh rates compared to models like the Samsung Odyssey G55A. Some users reported issues with the included DisplayPort cable, and I had to swap mine out for a better one to avoid occasional flickering. Also, there’s no built-in camera or speakers, so you’ll need external ones for video calls or audio.Bottom Line: For $300-$350, the Samsung UR59 Series 32" ViewFinity is a stellar deal for a 4K curved monitor. It’s perfect for multitasking, creative work, or enjoying media, with a vibrant display and eye-friendly features that make long hours more comfortable. The PBP mode and sleek design are big wins, though gamers might want a faster refresh rate, and the stand could be sturdier. I’d give it a 4.5/5—nearly perfect for the price, but minor quirks like the wobbly stand and cable issues keep it from a full 5. If you want a versatile, high-quality monitor for work or casual gaming, this one’s a fantastic pick

In your face using little space!
First, the size of the box it comes in is huge. Obviously to hold the 32-inch monitor that is inside. Everything was well packaged to prevent any damage during shipping. The monitor has its own stand mount and cannot be used with any standard monitor mounts, which is a downside if you are wanting to mount it otherwise. When setting up your cables to run, the stand has a cable channel that allows you to hide the cables and not be sore eyesight. The monitor does come with an HDMI cable which is nice but not the other type of cable to utilize the PBP feature. The other video input is DisplayPort which you cannot use an HDMI cable on, so you'd have to do your own research on finding an Active DisplayPort adapter. Once I powered on the monitor the resolution was amazing, not because of the size and in your face. I could see more detail on a larger scale, which is nice for me since I do some design work on my CNC router and laser. This was a major reason why I wanted the 32-inch Samsung monitor. You control all the settings through a simple joypad style button like most Samsung products have, which can be a pain but convenient and out of the way. Along with using it for my CNC work, I use it to play my gaming console as well as I wait on projects to finish on my laser. I can either watch both my laptop and gaming console at the same time or I can choose to switch between them utilizing the DisplayPort. It has an eye saver mode built-in if you plan on using for extended hours at a time but I have not used that feature yet. Going through and adjusting the settings, most of the images or videos that play on the monitor look lifelike! The curve on the monitor is very nice to have especially if you are sitting so close to it using your computer. It definitely gives what you are looking at a better perspective for your eyes since it is about the same distance from the center to the edge of the monitor. So if you are looking for something huge, uses little desk space, amazing picture and resolution, hides cables, lets you use 2 video inputs at the same time or switch between the two. Then this is the monitor for you to get! I would really like to get another one to go side by side!

Everything I was looking for
This is an amazing monitor...especially for what I do (mostly office work, with occasional YouTube videos). I'm a beginner level tech guy. Here's what I can tell you about this monitor. It's a curved monitor @ 1500R. The higher the number, the more of a curve it has. It's a UHD monitor. QHD (which Samsung does make) are closer to a widescreen. UHD would be widescreen...but it's also taller at the same time.If you're looking for a gaming monitor, you may want to look elsewhere. It does have a gaming mode (which I have not tried). I do know that gamers typically look for a higher FPS than this monitor offers. The UR59 is a 60FPS while most "gaming" monitors are going to be 120FPS to 180FPS. They typically have a faster response time as well. For the average day to day user, a 4ms response time is more than adequate. If you'll be gaming, you'll be looking for something closer to 1ms. All of these features are offered in other Samsung monitors. They just go up in price accordingly. For office workers and internet users, this is a great monitor.

Bad for Macbooks
DO NOT buy this monitor if you use a macbook. It has a flicker with the latest OS and it is unsolvable. 4 stars because it is a fantastic monitor but poor compatibility with apple OS for some reason.. get something newer
