Works very well - even without their special "Foldio" sweep. I use mine with a similarly-sized sweep and a couple external mini photo lights, and it works great. The Foldio360 app works really well and is easy to use - I love that you can adjust the exposure and crop the image after taking the photos, and the app automatically applies your adjustments to all the images and the 360 video. I also like that the app bundles all the individual shots, an animated gif, and an mp4 video file into a zip file for easy export to a computer.Improvements I'd like to see:1 - The turntable really should have physical controls to spin the turntable and use the rear edge light without the app. You CAN set up the turntable to automatically turn (and send a signal to a DSLR to snap pictures), but you need to access the underside of the turntable to do it, which is less than ideal. It seems like a real oversight that makes it less appealing to use a nicer DSLR camera with the table.2 - There should be image quality settings and more focus settings in the app. I would love to see the app take higher res photos and have better control of focus beyond the sketchy auto focus.Overall it's a great product that's going to end up saving me a ton of time and effort taking turnaround product photos. Without the app it would be nearly useless though, so if you're not a fan of using an app to control the setup, you might want to look elsewhere.

This product would be great if you have a small number of products. I purchased 2 to make 360 photos for my store. There is not one app that you work in, there are several. they each do something else. Then you have to go to spinzam to get an html code. After spending time cropping photos. I have to do it again. For Shopify. ‘ I CAN NOT USE ON MULTIPLE VARIANTS’ it can only be used in description. So I have 10 different color shoes per product. I have to choose what to use. With a store that has more than 700 products with multiple variants not a good choice. Otherwise a well made product.

This space BBQ is cheaply made and unimpressive. It is very small, I'd use a banana for scale but you could not fit one inside this device let alone take a picture of it. It could have been better if it were bigger. however unless you take photos of small rings and marbles, this will be useless for you. I have tried many foldio products, always to a disappointment at the non existent support and countless bugs that make the software mediocre at best. The phone mount can only adjust up down or left right, but not both. Since most phones have the camera offset and not centered, the mount for the extra $50 is also useless. Their Software is slow and freezes often. Works ok on android but total garbage on apple products.

This thing is great for small items inside a light box.Making 360 products is super simple with your phone.I do with the was an option to just set a spin and speed and have it rotate till I'm done though. You can set it to free rotate in the app, but you either have to hold it manually, or program the number of degrees you want it to rotate.All in all, this is a great product though!

I bought this to use for Photogrammetry. I wanted to be able to have an object on the turntable, rotating whilst I ‘scanned’ it.I was very excited when I learnt about this and even planned on getting the other Foldio products if this worked out.It didn’t.I was very frustrated to find that I could only set the turntable to rotate when the Folfio360 app was the active app on my iPhone. As soon as I navigated away to my Photogrammetry app, the turntable stopped rotating. Figuring I was doing something wrong, I reached out to orangemonkie online support. Heard nothing. Reached out again. Heard nothing.So after an initial excited high, this proved very disappointing and was quite a let down.I’m sure it’s great if you want to use the proprietary app but it’s sad that they feel the need to lock usage of the turntable to solely the app.

Not very accurate. I wanted to do a 360 of a product. I set the movement to 1° hit the increment button, took and picture, hit the button, took a photo... repeat repeat. When it came back the starting position I ended up with only 338 images. Last time I checked there are 360 degrees in a 360, not 338. At 1° per shot I should have 360 images not 338.

I love to buy high end items. But In this case, if this is the best I'll stick to a cheap one. There is no remote, it's cell phone or nothing. That don't work when you need to use a specific app to record then another to control. It don't make sense if you use need to use the device to record from another app.
